Disneyland resort hotels are always an option, but for me it’s more fun. There are also many neighboring hotels near the resorts which are very cheap and very comfortable.
As I mentioned above, Disney hotels can definitely break the budget, but choosing one of the nicer neighborhood hotels won’t, especially across the street!
Non-Disney hotels offer great deals and discounts, such as free or discounted park tickets, when you book a room to save a lot of money. Many are decorated with a Disney theme, bringing the resort to your favorite hotel.

With a Park Hopper ticket, you can travel between the two parks, Disneyland and Disney California Adventure, as often as you like throughout the day after 11:00 am.

You can save a lot of money by choosing a 1-park-ticket per day, but it depends on your preferences. For me, if I’m at Disneyland for 3 days or less, I usually get a Park Hopper.
It’s also great because Disney California Adventure usually closes early so you can spend an hour or two at Disneyland to end your day.
One thing you should know about buying Disneyland tickets is that when you buy a multi-day ticket, the price for each day will be cheaper for the length of your ticket.
The only exception to this is if all the dates you select are credit dates. In this case, a 1-day value day ticket can be cheaper than buying a 2-day ticket. A 1-day ticket can be purchased if you know exactly which days you want to visit the parks.
