At Home Lice Treatment
These particles are immune to everything that worked before. You may remember your mother’s frequent use of lice remedies or mayonnaise. New head lice are no longer killed by this treatment, which is why people today call lice “super lice” because they are immune to this treatment.
I have cured thousands of people at my lice center and let me tell you, I am not doing this to treat lice.
Most people battle lice because they focus too much on getting rid of them and not enough on getting them out!
If you want to get rid of lice, you need to address all three lice problems:

After trying many over-the-counter medications, many parents try to find effective home remedies. What about Vaseline?
Researchers tested the effectiveness of petroleum jelly (trade name petroleum jelly) and 5 other home remedies against head lice.
Best Head Lice Combs To Get Rid Of Lice Eggs And Nits
In one study, petroleum jelly killed about 62 percent of head lice. It works better than other home remedies like mayonnaise, olive oil, butter, and vinegar. It also beat out the most popular over-the-counter treatments. But 62% is still not a staggering number, especially considering all the shortcomings of petroleum jelly, which I will discuss in this article.
Let’s get started…good eggs and lice are the same! Don’t make it more complicated than it needs to be. In this article, the two terms (lice and nits) are used interchangeably.
Lice eggs are small (about the size of a poppy) and are well embedded in the hair. If you don’t look closely, you might miss them. Lice eggs and dandruff are often confused, but some key differences are that lice eggs are teardrop-shaped and stick to one side of the hair shaft.
You get indications that particles cannot be removed by brushing, blowing or brushing. Without a high-quality lice comb, the only way to remove lice eggs from the hair shaft is to squeeze them between two fingers and drag them along the length of the hair shaft with your hands.
The Best Way To Get Rid Of Lice: Why The Welcomb® Is My Answer To Lice & Nit Removal
Evidence shows that applying petroleum jelly to the scalp for 10 days prevents most lice from hatching.
Crazy, who did it? But maybe it takes you that long to wash the Vaseline out of your kid’s hair…
Many people who use lice removal kits and home remedies experience an “endless cycle of lice.”
When you get your first lice infestation, you’ll find old lice, nits, and nits (also called nits).
How Head Lice Is Treated
After using over-the-counter or home remedies, people think they’ve solved the problem because they haven’t been able to find the lice for a while.
But the biggest problem is the residual lice eggs in the hair. Lice kits and home remedies won’t kill the eggs, each of which contains a virus waiting to hatch and attack your child again.
Because the lice eggs are small, the lice are also small when they first hatch. In fact, they are almost invisible! Therefore, it usually takes a few weeks for them to grow large enough for you to see them.
If you want to stop this endless cycle and get rid of lice fast, watch my step-by-step video procedure. Follow the video and you can get rid of lice completely in one day without retreatment.
Super Lice’ Are In Iowa. Here’s How To Treat Them
Vaseline is less sticky. Covering your scalp and hair with petroleum jelly is like grabbing a handful of chewing gum and rubbing it into your hair. Since petroleum jelly is thick and insoluble in water, it can take weeks to remove the petroleum jelly from your hair once you apply it!
I’m sorry if you’ve ever mistakenly put petroleum jelly on your child’s hair. Here are the best things I’ve found to help get rid of it.
To treat lice with petroleum jelly, apply petroleum jelly to hair, cover with a plastic cap, and put child to bed. It’s actually very dangerous and can be deadly. Here’s an excerpt from a news report about the disaster caused by a lice medicine gone wrong:
“Massachusetts State Police are investigating the death of an 18-month-old boy, apparently caused by anti-pedigo medication. …

It was as if the girl had fallen asleep unattended and a bag fell on her face causing her to suffocate. “
Vaseline doesn’t work. Covering your hair in petroleum jelly and removing it carefully is a waste of your time and energy. It is better to invest time, energy and money in effective treatment!
If you haven’t decided to try petroleum jelly lice treatment, I don’t recommend it, but it’s dangerous and you’ll spend hours trying to get it out of your hair. Also, it doesn’t get rid of lice.
Lice are dangerous and no one should have to deal with them for months. I hope you don’t.

What Is The Best Lice Treatment?
I would not recommend petroleum jelly as a lice treatment to anyone. While it killed a certain percentage of lice (62%), it wasn’t very attractive. Leaving petroleum jelly in a child’s hair for 10 days thinking it will help get rid of lice eggs is foolish! And vaseline is hard to wash out of your hair, so your baby will be wet in a matter of weeks! no thanks.
