Full coverage is critical, especially in shaded areas. It can be used with any hose end sprayer (see below), compression sprayer or topical sprayer (4 oz/water vapor) and spray systems (16-25 oz/water vapor).
How To Get Rid Of Fleas In The Yard
5000 sq. ft., Add 8-10 oz of concentrate and hot water to the 20 gallon fill line on the sprayer at the end of the premix hose. If you are using a sprayer with a dial on the end of the hose, fill the sprayer with concentrate and cap 1 tbsp.
Connect the sprayer to the hose and turn on the water, then turn on the spray nozzle. Spray the perimeter of your home a few feet from ground level to encourage bugs to leave your home.
Proceed to the yard and apply the product with a steady walking speed and sweeping motion of the sprayer. Build a driveway or fence line. Spray trees from the base and as high as possible.
Apply a second treatment 2-10 days apart to break the pest’s life cycle. If pest pressure is high, use the lower end of the range. If necessary, repeat until error control is installed.

Scratch & Tick Yard + Garden concentrates can be used with a variety of end-of-hose sprayers, including pick-ups and pre-mixers. The Flea & Tick Yard + Garden is a ready-to-use end-of-hose sprayer that can be filled with concentrate.
Ideally early morning or late afternoon/evening to avoid the hottest part of the day. To avoid phytotoxic foliar burn, which can occur even when watering your yard and garden, avoid applications above 90ºF and high temperatures in direct sunlight.
Use Scratch and Tick + Indoor Scratch and Yard and Tick + Outdoor Pet Garden. Yard Spray is not designed or tested on household surfaces.
Outdoor Flea & Tick Control For Yard + Garden
Use Flea & Tick Pets + Home on dogs and cats, and insect repellent on humans. Flea & Tick Yard + Garden is not intended for use on pets or humans and is not pH balanced for direct application to the skin.
Oh yes! We recommend washing fruits and vegetables treated with Flea & Tick Yard + Garden so that cedar oil residue does not affect the taste of food in your garden.
Pre-Mixed Hose End Sprayer: 8-10 oz of concentrate to about 22 oz of hot water. End of hose sprayer: Fill sprayer with concentrate and cap 1 tbsp. Compression Sprayer: 4 oz/gallon of water. Other methods of application: Topical spray: 4 oz/gallon of water. Mist systems: 16-25 oz/gallon of water. Irrigation systems: injection rate 1 and 1500-2500 per irrigation cycle of 1-2 minutes. If your pet is very itchy, sheds or develops scabies and hot spots, your pet may have fleas. If your pet has fleas, chances are they are in your home, yard, and maybe even on you. Fortunately, there are steps you can take to protect your pets and rid your home of fleas using synthetic chemicals and natural products.
Treat all your pets with oral or topical medications. Discuss with your vet which prevention is right for you and your pet: you can use an oral product such as NexGard or Comfortis, or you can use a topical product such as Revolution or Activyl to prevent fleas. All of these are recommended, but remember that if your dog cannot cope with oral medications, a topical solution should be used. Also, if your pet has skin allergies/skin reactions, we recommend using an oral flea treatment.

After treating your home and pets, let your pets roam free in your home. Fleas will be gone shortly after smelling your pet, jumping on their fur and biting your pet’s skin.
Keep your pet inside as much as possible within 30 days. If your pet needs to go outside, keep it away from tall grass, leaves, gravel or sandy areas.
Continue to treat your pet for fleas every 30 days. This is considered maintenance and helps prevent re-infection.
