One of her best decisions is an apartment in Toronto, where she has lived since December 2018.

SS: The most difficult thing, perhaps, is the relationship between a small budget and a rented apartment. In a perfect world I would paint the wood trim and doors and change the ceiling to do something bold and fun. These three things – clothing, color and scale – when you think about it, can make any space cozy. floor area; Add shelter, vintage pieces, or combinations with natural fibers. Apply a layer color to add depth, even if it’s neutral. Three colors – one light; Choose a dark color and something in the middle and distribute it throughout the space. Finally, go bang or go home.
